Almost Finished!
I'm almost finished with my baby boy's hooded cardigan! All that's left is sewing up the sides, sleeves, and buttons(and tucking in all the stray thread) I'll post pictures of it and the patchwork blanket later!

I guess it's back to the yarn store for my baby boy's intarsia sweater(shown in the previous post)
I hope they have all these colors to select from. I may modify the colors a bit depending what is available.

Had to frog the one sock I started. It turned out to be too big. Next time I'm gonna find another pattern and adjust for size.

I was more excited to start on baby boy's sweater. I couldn't find a picture of Sirdar 3025 online, but did find the yarn

Rowan 4 ply soft: 100% Merino wool. So soft and and won't be scratchy on baby's skin

Here's a picture of the pattern I bought for inspiration:

I'll start on it after the first one is done.

Excited! Excited! Da-Da Da-Da Da-Da-Da
I hit yarn shop #1 on my lunch hour and picked up supplies to knit some socks.
2 circular #2 turbo needles, and 2 balls of Regia Sock Yarn. I started these last night trying to use the 2 socks and 2 circular needles, but decided to master one sock on 2 circular needles first. I was getting all confused when I was casting on. I think because I don't have a pattern where you start at the toe...plenty of time to perfect this in years to come, I guess.

I also made a sock kit for my sister-in-law, w/ #2 double pointed needle set and that Fortissima Colori Yarn.

I hit yarn shop #2 after work. More yarn for Judy(late Christmas present)...and some cute baby boy patterns. The first was this cool Dutch intarsia cardigan. I bought the pattern just for inspiration. The second pattern is this simple hooded cardigan w/ a knit/purl design kinda cable'ish, but no cables. All I wanted was a simple hooded sweater pattern w/ a cable design, but I looked all through the books and no such thing...I bought the yarn for the second pattern...Finger weight blue merino. Oh so soft! It will be heaven to knit...

Baby Boy's Blanket Complete!!!

I've sewn all the squares together and added a Reverse Single Crochet stitch edge to pull the thing together. Here's a picture of what Reverse Single Crochet stitch edge looks like.

I'll post blankie pictures later.

What's up next?
I have an urge to make some socks. I want to use a cute sock yarn so they will have a cute pattern w/out knitting intarsia. This one is so cute!

I'm also gonna put together a little sock knitting kit for my sister-in-laws birthday, as well as some cotton yarn for a sweater she wants to make for one of her boys.(very belated Christmad gift, poor sister-in-law) Gotta Hit the Yarn shop!!!

I also got this Debbie Bliss: Easy Knits book for Christmas and want to start on a baby boy sweater. Problem is, the book has the cutest girl's sweaters. I think I'll look for another pattern. I'm thinking cable knit baby hoodie.
If you have any good patterns in mind like that, please leave me a note.
