SUMMER!!!
After work on Friday, we took JonP and Jacob down to the wading pool. JonP had so much fun and was so busy, that he didn't care when his baby brotherr dipped his feet in too. We stayed until JonP's lips were blue and he was shivering. He was fighting us even though he was so cold. We walked around the lake to Tacos Guaymas and had some burritos, then walked back to Mom's house to get our cars.

It was soooo hot yesterday...We skipped a very tempting invitation to a pool party, to work on our jungle of a back yard.
Philip broke out his chain saw and took down some medium sized trees in our yard. He was working most of the day by himself and I felt so useless just inside with the kids. The cleanup seemed so enourmous. I put Jacob in a stoller and JonP strapped inside his red wagon and got to work with the loppers. Soon, Jacob was crying from being bored just sitting there. He was happier in the backpack on my back. Then JonP was yelling "Mommeeeee!!! Mommmeeee!!!" for a whole hour. I just kept answering, "Yes!", until he got hysterical.

Yardwork and small kids don't mix, but at least we made a dent. Those raspberry bushes will soon be withered and dead. Big plans for the yard, front, side and back, but it will take us awhile...

JonP has a cold

Mom said its because we take him places where there are germs...
Where could the germs have caught him? hmmm

We went to the Science Center on Saturday and saw 3D INTO THE DEEP at the IMAX. pretty cool. It was Jacob's very first movie. They didn't have glasses small enough to fit his face, so it was all blurry to him. JonP got scared and took off his glasses and turned away.
By Surprise, Pagdariwang was going on at the Seattle Center, JonP got candy from the Lolo that was doing filipino games...The same guy that does Pista every year...
And we ate lots of filipino fast food and listened to a great band with flamingco guitar. JonP and Dani got to chase bubbles during the concert. Oh man, I almost forgot, we caught a glimps of the NAKED bike riders! They were turning around by the EMP. Yikes! I wanted to wipe off my eyeballs...

He could have caught it at the "Kid's House"(that's what JonP calls the daycare at church), while he was playing with the snotty nosed, allergic to milk parish kids...****bingo!!!****

We also ventured out to Carkeek park, played in the sand for just a minute and watched the kite surfers.(Did you know that Carkeek Park is a Kit surfing spot!)
Since it was good weather for kite surfing(Windy, windy, windy) We went up to play at the playground. JonP made friends at the Salmon slide, and on the teeter totter and we even had a little crowd on the grass, chasing bubbles al la Philip.

I guess we went a bunch of places where germs could be, but we had a great time while they attacked JonP.

...That's life...
maybe my mom will buy him a bubble...
Do they sell those at Right Start?

Very Superstitious...
My husband stayed home today and kept my family inside the house.
I HAD to go into the office today...What about me? I guess they're at home praying that I'll return to them.

So far so good, though. I'm keeping an eye out though...
