Making progress...
Sorry, no picks of that chunky hat yet...My hubby decided to upgrade our computer at home and is in the process of swapping things from one box to another. So I can't download any pictures from the digital cam.

Two down..still lots to go...
I'm using Cotten-Ease to make hats for my younger girly cousins. Check out the colors, I picked

bubblegum, blueberry, and sugar plum

I'm also putting their names on the hats with duplicate stiching. I found some Knitting Alphabet charts.
This one has cute letters, but they turned out pretty big on the first hat completed. The other girls have way longer names and these letters just won't do.
I found I love you lace in my patterns folder. It's an alphabet chart for crochet, but I can use it for my knitting project.

I'm so glad I got my knitting urge back. It was gone for almost a year.

We'll have to see if I have time for matching mittens...So many presents so little time.

One down...Lots to go
I just finished on chunky knitted watch cap featured in this months issue of Real Simple Magazine. They pattern was OK, but I just followed it for structure. I didn't have the same gage, so I had to add some stitches. Pictures to follow...(I promise!)

Christmas Knitting
It's time to put my baby blanket on a little hold and start on some Christmas knitting.
I have a dozen younger cousins to gift for Christmas. Last year, I made the older, middle school age girls knitted bags, another younger girl I made mittens(which didn't fit her exactly right). The two boys I made Harry Potter scarves. The older boys, I ran out of time and just bought them junk. The year before I knitted everyone a hat.

So this year, I plan to make mittens, socks and some more hats. By now they've probably lost the hats I've made them anyway.
