Work and Play
We traded off days with Gab and Djan...Dani stayed on Friday night because the movie would have been too scary for her. Her, Jonny and Jacob had so much fun, just playing. Pictures to come...Potato head Dani, Jonny and Jacob.

They watched the boys on Saturday, while we cleaned up our yard a bit. Whoah! We lost track of time and probably left the kids over there a little too long. But we made some progress...Our goal is to have everything cut back and ready for the kids to go out an run around. Jonny has been keeping his eye out for a swing and slide structure to put in our yard.

Sunday - rest, Tibetan food with Rosque. Got to meet his girlfriend.
Monday - Pancakes, then Folk Life. fun!

Preschool is all set. We were invited to a new family BBQ in a couple weeks. We picked the Fun School!

PreSchool Shopping this week...Jonny's gonna go to the "Fun School!"
Phil and I have decided on a one-step at a time approach to education. Next year we'll pick an elementary school. In 6 years, we'll pick a middle school(or a parish school), 3 years after that we'll pick a high school. Oh gosh, we'll have to do it all over again for Jacob!

Seattle Weather has been great, so I've abandoned Curves for a bit and we've been going for long walks. Dioji came along with us on Wednesday and now Jacob wants to be with him all the time.

We really need to get going on our backyard. Both the boys want to go back there to give Dioji a treat an hang out with him. It would be just great to have a space where the boys can just run around and do outside stuff.

Something funny for Friday...

Dress-up games for people who love fashion

Update
It's been an emotional couple weeks since my last entry. In short, JonP started school; went for 3 days; teacher is old and mean and retiring; school is dear to my heart, but loyalty goes out the door, when there is no excellence; Looking for a new school; found one, but still keeping eyes open...

New perspective...Instead of trying to fit JonP into a school, find a school that fits JonP.
My child has a mind of his own and is very energetic. Some people think that's a bad thing, and some people think it's a good thing. Never the less, teaching him is gonna be hard work, but very rewarding in the end.

Hawaii trip is all booked...but there's too much time before we leave!!!!
