Five years ago we played this song...

We had a great weekend camping at Nehalem bay State park. The Oregon coast is beautiful and we had wonderful company. Lots of little rugrats for JonP & Jacob to play with. Unfortunately, Dioji stayed home with Uncle. The three of them would have just out numbered Mommy and Daddy. Next time he'll come along, since there will be family to help us out.

We're camping pros now...our little 3 person tent is just big enough for all of us. Philip will bring JonP his own sleeping bag next time. Since JonP kicks the covers off and can't share with daddy anymore.
Good thing there are 3 more trips planned for August. Good times, when you have no vacation time and want to save some $$$. Perhaps next year Hawaii and California will have us as guests.

Our 5 year anniversary is this weekend. I can't believe 5 years has gone by so fast. We've been quite busy though.

Enjoy the heat this weekend. We'll probably venture over to discovery park for the Seafair Indian Days PowWow
How come the powwow is always on such a HOT day? same as Pista Sa Nayon which is on July 30th - I haven't attended it in years, maybe we will this year.

4th MEANS 4 DAY WEEKEND, YAY!!!!
JonP's cousins are in town, so we had a fun filled busy weekend.

Philip took the day off Friday to clean and organize our house. It looked SOOOO nice on Saturday morning! I didn't even recognize it. It feels so good to have clutter stored away and out of sight!

We got to see the Bubble Man at Alexandria's 1st Birthday party all the WAY out in Maple Valley. We came home with 2 new family members, Fishy and Phishy as party favors. We got Sees chocolates as party favors from CinDoy's 30th birthday later that evening. She's 30 now, but still looks like she's 16. We love you CinDoy, you're so cute and sweet!

Phil and I hosted a reunion at our place for Judy. Tessie&Lito's grandkids total 6 and we ended up having 12 total kids at our place for the party. Our nice uncluttered house was a big toybox for a bit, but the kids had so much fun. While the adults were catching up inside, I took all the kids out on the porch and let them eat 4 mini popsicles each and play with bubbles. We moved party over to Mads&Juices house later that evening. JonP jumped off the diving board 2 times and wasn't even scared! We're gonna have a great summer thanks to Mads inviting us over to enjoy their pool. Next time I'll bring my suit and teach swimming lessons...

Monday, Lolo Lito and Lola Tessie got to spend the day with all 6 grandkids. Mom Tessie cooked us lunch! and we spent the day at Kitsap Mall getting portraits of the kids. Phil and I had great timing leaving B-town at 10pm. On our way to catch the Bainbridge Ferry, we were able to watch the July 3rd Fireworks in Poulsbo from our car and drive off to catch the 11:35 ferry right after. We even saw Jojo standing in line at club Venom, when we got off the ferry.

We went back the Bainbridge on the 4th to watch the little parade and buffet at Auntie Mimi's. The kids had a Pop-it war in the driveway and a race in the backyard.
On our boat ride home to Seattle, we got good news! Sephina was born on the 4th of July, a healthy 7lbs 5 oz! Yay! Can't wait to meet baby girl!
When we arrived at home, we gave Dioji a doggy downer, and the 4 of us, sleepy and crying and all, headed over to Wallingford Park to view the WaMu fireworks from afar. Jacob slept tight all tucked in his carseat and JonP watched sleepy eyed in his daddy's lap under our blanky. They had smiley face, heart, gellyfish(or mushroom) and cube shaped fireworks. Philip's favorites are the ones that make the biggest sounds.

We'll say goodbye to JonP and Jacob's Ate's and Kuya's tonight.
