Life Update.
I've been spending most of my online time on facebook like everyone else in the world.
Facebook is like a bloggers qwickie really. I can check everyone's status and see what they're doing at the moment and can communicate what is on my mind.

But I miss updating here. I like the semi-anonymousness of my space here.

Life is just happening really. My boys are growing and in school. They are settling down a bit and we're all enjoying family time. I'm now at the age where my child bearing years are less than more. So my husband and I made a non-decision...Not to prevent another baby.

So here I am, 1/2 way through my last pregnancy. We were hoping for a girl, since we have 2 little wonderful boys and mommy didn't want to be too outnumbered...
We had our Ultrasound last week and 90% chance we'll have a little girl in August.
People think I'm crazy but even the profile Ultrasound pics look like a baby girl. Something about the features just more feminine.

I've also been knitting again. I completed a Wool cablelace knit cardigan for my son's school auction. Next time, I will try to get some donated yarn or on sale yarn. For non-knitters the worth of a hand knit garment is lower, since they don't know how expensive natural fiber yarn is nor how much time and work goes into a garment.

Anyways...for more frequent updates, there is always facebook

Yes, we had a lovely Summer!
Been a long time since I posted here. The boys are now back at school. The post-labor day confusion set in today, since I dropped Jacob off at school and when he was in line I realized that he's only supposed to attend school Wed through Fri...NOT TODAY...luckily the teacher let him stay, so we avoided a freak out.

The house is smelling like apple cider vinegar, since I'm testing out a fruit fly trap. Cup with Vinegar, dishsoap and water, with bubbles at the top....So far I've drowned a bunch of the little suckers. The smell of the vinegar attracts them, then they get stuck in the bubbles and drown.

We have an infestation! Last night we were vacuuming them and that cut down on the numbers greatly. Today, nothing in the green recycle bucket, but lots of flies still hanging out. So I'm trying this soap trap...

We're trying everything we can to settle into a routine here at home. Phil and the kids are busy, busy, busy with all their classes, and I'm trying to sneak in some knitting and working out. Dinners must be cooked and ready to be heated up. So bedtime can be early. Still trying to get a handle on that....

Happy Autumn

Been a long time..
I've been a facebook junkie and updating my status there instead of updating this site.
So for my daily happenings you can checkup on me there.

We have a new addition to our family since the end of April. We brought home or Jazzi girl from Florida. Having a dog back in the house has been a change for us all. We've discovered Puppy daycare, which she goes 2 days a week. I can tell that it gets the puppy spaz out of her, since when she doesn't go she has puppy spaz @ home and thinks the boys are puppies and wants to play with them like they are also dogs. The boys don't appreciate that too much since her nails and teeth are sharp.

I've discovered that she's a great jumper and can launch her self from sitting position about 2 feet. She's pulled a lot of Jon's artwork off the wall and torn it up.

The boys are growing and developing.
Jacob is working on being a Potty Trainer and Jon is working on his listening skills and follow through.

We've been memorizing a poem this week for Jon's Kindergarten assignment.
So far Jon, Jacob, me and Mom have all memorized it.

I spent a couple hours online trying to find a poem that was appropriate and short enought to memorize.

Caterpillar by Christina Rossetti
Brown and Furry
Caterpillar in a Hurry
Take your walk
To the shady leaf or stalk
Or What Not
Which may be the chosen spot
No toad spy you
Hovering bird of prey pass by you
Spin & Die
To Live again a butterfly

The only thing is when Jon starts to recite it I can tell he's thinking about the caterpillar in his head and then he can't recite the poem. There are long pauses when he's watching the caterpillar in his head...

Jacob can finish each line.

The good thing is, I thought I was incapable of memorizing anything else, since my brain's been full for awhile. But I memorized this poem so I can teach Jonny.
